Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced CT Scan Technologist to join our team at Maine Medical Center. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for operating advanced imaging equipment and providing exceptional patient care.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working night shifts from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, with three consecutive nights in a row. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist and possess strong technical skills and excellent communication abilities.

Responsibilities
  • Operate GE Revolution CT and GE Discovery HD CT scanners to capture high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for scans, including positioning, instructing, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan settings, and image quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
  • Current ARRT registration and Maine State Professional License.
  • At least 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist, preferably in a level I or II trauma setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
