AOM Healthcare Job Opportunity

AOM Healthcare is a leading provider of long term care services, operating 21 facilities throughout Ohio. We are seeking a highly skilled Director of Nursing to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing the nursing department to ensure the delivery of high-quality, efficient care to our residents.

  • Leadership and Management: Assume primary responsibility for ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care, and in the absence of the Executive Director, carry out resident care policies established by the facility.
  • Staffing and Development: Recruit and hire qualified nursing staff, establish competency/skills checklists, and prepare and monitor adherence to an annual operating budget for the nursing department.
  • Compliance and Quality: Maintain and guide the implementation of current policies and procedures, ensure compliance with resident rights policies, and actively participate in the quality improvement process for the facility.
  • Communication and Reporting: Establish and maintain productive lines of communication with residents, families, internal staff, and external community, and prepare and submit reports on nursing department operations as required.
