The Clinical Development Leader gMG plays a pivotal role in driving the clinical development of our assets intended for gMG. This involves strategic input in Target Product Profiles (TPPs), Clinical Development Plans (CDPs), and regulatory documents. Working closely with cross-functional leaders, this expert will provide high-quality clinical development that can be executed efficiently within time and budget, leading to successful registrations.

This position reports into the Disease Area Lead Neuromuscular and oversees a team of Medical Doctors responsible for overseeing all medical aspects of clinical programs across all compounds developed for gMG. The goal is to maximize both expertise and resource efficiency while ensuring compliance with SOPs and GCP.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide senior medical expertise as a point of contact for senior management and business development for gMG, including due diligences
  • Oversee and guide strategic medical input, execution, and interpretation of clinical programs across all assets in gMG
  • Lead, coach, and structure a group of highly qualified medical doctors across assets
  • Responsible for overseeing the successful registration of compounds in the indication, providing expert advice on study and regulatory documents
  • Ensure harmonization of practices and increase efficiencies across the indication while remaining sensitive to overall harmonization/efficiency needs in the company
  • Closely collaborate with other functional leaders to align medical vision, risks, issues, and results with all involved parties

Desired Qualifications:

  • Medical Doctor with Neurology certification or strong background in neurology clinical development preferred
  • At least 8-10 years of industry experience
  • In-depth knowledge of the indication, competitive environment, and worldwide regulatory landscape
  • Established network of global KOLS an asset
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken, with ability to travel regularly
  • Proven interpersonal skills enabling collaboration with medical doctors and commercial team members
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills, adaptable to a global organization
  • Effective communication skills to ensure close collaboration with cross-functional leaders

Compensation Package:
