Job Title: CT Technologist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc.

Job Summary:

The CT Technologist will be responsible for operating computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of anatomy and pathology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Position patients for exams and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Adjust equipment settings to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient exams and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography and Computed Tomography.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, preferably in CT.
