Optical Sales Professional

The Sales Associate plays a vital role in setting the standard of quality in eye care and eyewear at LensCrafters. This position ensures every patient and customer has an exceptional experience in every LensCrafters store. The Sales Associate helps establish LensCrafters as the premier destination for all vision needs in the community.
Main Responsibilities
- Deliver sales plans and company objectives by cultivating existing customer relationships and building new ones.
- Utilize optical prescriptions to recommend specific lenses and lens coatings.
- Assist patients in selecting frames and coordinate frames with optical measurements to help customers choose the perfect vision solution.
- Conduct measurements using appropriate optical tools and consult with Opticians as needed.
- Participate in creating a positive store environment, fostering strong relationships with peers, management, doctors, and support staff.
- Maintain the appearance of the store and take initiative to keep displays and inventory clean, attractive, and organized.
- Foster an inclusive culture by treating customers and colleagues with respect.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1+ years of experience in retail or customer service.
- Familiarity with point of sale systems, computers, and calculators, with basic phone and math skills.
- Ability to sell through the use of sales skills and accountability for sales results, with a desire to meet goals.
- Strong communication skills (both oral and written).
- Self-motivation with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quickly changing environment.
