About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead to oversee the Systems Infrastructure & Security team at San Francisco Health Plan. As a key member of our IT leadership team, you will be responsible for managing hardware and software maintenance, training, and consultation services to ensure maximum access to technology resources.

The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience in information technology, with at least 5 years of people management/leadership experience preferably in an IT environment. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is required, along with relevant certifications like CISM or CISSP.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of our technology infrastructure, including recommending and implementing internal controls based on HIPAA security guidelines.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the operations of information systems and electronic data processing (EDP).
  • Manage the computer systems budgets and expenditures, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Lead all staff under the Infrastructure and Systems Development team, promoting teamwork and encouraging new ideas.
