Job Summary

Idaho Truck Specialties, L.L.C. is seeking a skilled Heavy Machinery Restoration Mechanic to join our team. As a key member of our restoration team, you will be responsible for performing operational tests, tear-downs, fabrications, diagnostics, and installations of electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough diagnostics on electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems to identify areas for improvement.
  2. Install and upfit electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical components to meet customer specifications.
  3. Perform general repairs and maintenance on heavy machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  4. Utilize welding techniques to fabricate and repair heavy machinery components.
  5. Conduct quality control checks on all completed jobs to ensure adherence to company standards.
  6. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience as a service technician in heavy machinery restoration.

Work Environment:

This position works in a climate-controlled shop setting, with proper personal protective equipment (PPE) provided and required at all times.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, with days and hours of work being Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a half-hour lunch. However, hours may change based on need.

No travel is expected for this position.
