Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Unit Director - RN to lead the overall operations, coordination, and direction of nursing and patient/resident care for an assigned nursing unit. As a member of our team, you will collaborate with staff, physicians, rehabilitation therapy, and other professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring patient/resident care delivery is consistent with Genesis HealthCare's mission, vision, values, and policies
  • Collaborating with staff to achieve positive clinical outcomes and patient/resident satisfaction
  • Managing human resources, including recruiting, orientating staff, assessing work performance, and implementing disciplinary action when necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing and hold current Registered Nurse licensure by the State Board of Nursing.
