Salary and BenefitsThe hourly wage range for this position is $19.00 to $26.00*. Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Meat Cutter to join our team. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for driving sales, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining high-quality standards in our meat products.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Process meat according to specifications (cutting, slicing, grinding, and wrapping)
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations
- Ensure compliance with food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and inventory management
- Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives

RequirementsTo be successful in this role, you should have:
- 6 months' experience working in a fresh production department
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Physical stamina to lift and move heavy objects
- Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and adhering to company policies and procedures
