Job Summary

As a Pharmacist at Walmart, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications. You will be responsible for processing and dispensing prescription orders, counseling patients on medication use and health care needs, and maintaining accurate and confidential records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care through accurate dispensing of medications, counseling on medication use, and maintaining patient records.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient care and address any concerns or issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest medication therapies, treatment options, and best practices in patient care.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD degree, or equivalent FPGE (NABP).
  • Pharmacy license (by job entry date).
  • Completion of an ACPE Accredited Immunization training program (for example, APhA, Pharmacy School Curriculum, State Pharmacy Association sponsored).
