Electronics Assembler

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team at Altimeter Solutions in Amityville, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations and be able to comprehend and interpret technical specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations, including skilled hand work and automated production equipment.
- Comprehend and interpret technical specifications, terms, and documents.
- Determine and/or follow methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering, and cable harnessing on assembly units.
- Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications.
- Develop and support individual contributors.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience.
- Good communication skills, must be able to read and communicate work status in English.
- Pneumatic drills and sanders and riveting background/experience.
- Ability to stand on their feet for long periods of time.
