Job Summary:

The Physical Therapist Rehabilitation position at Life Care Center of Kona is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a skilled healthcare professional to provide direct rehab care to patients in a post-acute care facility. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will be responsible for implementing and interpreting physical therapy treatment plans, overseeing and evaluating care given by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and PT and PTA students, and utilizing therapy software appropriately and accurately.

Responsibilities:

* Provide direct rehab care to patients in accordance with all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards.
* Participate in community health matters/projects as appropriate.
* Implement and interpret physical therapy treatment plans for patients.
* Oversee and evaluate care given by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and PT and PTA students.
* Utilize therapy software appropriately and accurately.

Requirements:

* Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT).
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and email.
* Knowledgeable of practices and procedures as well as the laws, regulations, and guidelines governing functions in the post-acute care facility.
* Maintains confidentiality of all proprietary and/or confidential information.
* Understand and follow company policies including harassment and compliance procedures.
* Displays integrity and professionalism by adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct and completes mandatory Code of Conduct and other appropriate compliance training.
