We are seeking a skilled Operations Planner to join our team in Florence, KY. This role is responsible for managing the demand plan and ensuring timely shipment information.
Job Description:The Operations Planner plays a crucial role in driving performance improvements and enhancing operational efficiency. Key responsibilities include:
- Demand Planning: Collaborate with internal teams to develop accurate demand forecasts that align with customer requirements.
- Operational Planning: Develop and maintain a feasible and efficient operational plan that balances capacity, material availability, and production schedules to meet customer demand.
- Execution Oversight: Ensure the successful execution of the operational plan by collaborating with cross-functional teams, tracking progress, and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and production teams to ensure material availability for production.
- Customer Satisfaction: Focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely shipments and clear communication regarding any potential delays or changes in production schedules.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of demand planning, production scheduling, and inventory management. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and advanced Excel skills is also required. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and interface with customers, are essential.
Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, high school diploma/equivalent required.
- 2 years of experience in material planning or production scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
