Speech-Language Pathologist for Educational Setting

About the JobThis full-time position is available at 40 hours per week for the upcoming school year. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and diagnosing speech and language disorders in students, developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and providing direct therapy services both one-on-one and in small groups.
Key Responsibilities- Assessment and Diagnosis: Evaluate students' communication skills to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- IEP Development: Collaborate with teachers and school staff to create tailored education plans that address students' unique needs.
- Therapy Services: Provide direct therapy to students, either individually or in small groups, to help them develop effective communication skills.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess and document students' progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Masters Degree: Possess a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Hold Oregon licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certification: Certification from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) is preferred but not required.
- Experience: Previous experience working in a school setting or with children is highly desirable.
