Dietitian Nutritionist Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian Nutritionist to lead our team in the development and implementation of medically tailored meal programs.

Community Servings is a dynamic and fast-growing organization at the forefront of the "Food is Medicine" field. We provide over 1 million medically tailored meals annually to clients and their families, while prioritizing racial and economic justice and health equity in all our programs and business practices.

The successful candidate will assist in the nutritional assessment and counseling of meal delivery clients, lead virtual and in-person community cooking and nutrition workshops, and ensure that home-delivered meals adhere to therapeutic goals and dietary standards.

• Reviews client medical records and nutritional status to assess eligibility for home meal delivery program
• Conducts telephonic nutritional assessments and develops care plans for meal delivery clients
• Provides nutritional counseling and responds to client concerns over the phone and in person upon request
• Collaborates with referral partners and medical professionals to adjust client care plans
• Assists with tracking and maintenance of client paperwork for annual funder and agency audits

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDNP) and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) credentials in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
• Willingness to apply for licensure in the States of New Hampshire and Rhode Island
• Bilingual proficiency required, with mandatory Spanish fluency
• Familiarity with the latest nutritional standards, practices, and procedures
• Experience in developing therapeutic diets and menus for different diagnostic categories
• Ability to translate complex scientific and nutritional information into simpler messaging for diverse audiences
