Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will assist in the nutritional assessment and counseling of meal delivery clients, lead virtual and in-person community cooking and nutrition workshops, and ensure that home-delivered meals adhere to therapeutic goals and dietary standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Reviews client medical records and nutritional status to assess eligibility for home meal delivery program
- Conducts telephonic nutritional assessments and develops care plans for meal delivery clients
- Provides nutritional counseling and responds to client concerns over the phone and in person upon request
- Collaborates with referral partners and medical professionals to adjust client care plans
- Assists with tracking and maintenance of client paperwork for annual funder and agency audits
To be considered for this role, candidates must have:
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDNP) and Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist (LDN) credentials in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
- Willingness to apply for licensure in the States of New Hampshire and Rhode Island
- Bilingual proficiency required, with mandatory Spanish fluency
- Familiarity with the latest nutritional standards, practices, and procedures
- Experience in developing therapeutic diets and menus for different diagnostic categories
- Ability to translate complex scientific and nutritional information into simpler messaging for diverse audiences
