We are seeking an experienced Workday Program Manager to join our growing Technology Project Management Office. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in strategizing and executing critical Workday projects, ensuring seamless integration with our organizational objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Workday projects from inception to warranty, including new implementations, optimizations, data enhancements, and reporting.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align projects with organizational objectives, strategizing on scope, deliverables, MVPs, and success metrics.
  • Forge strong connections with stakeholders to gather comprehensive requirements, translating business needs into practical project plans.
  • Proactively identify and implement process enhancements, ensuring the smooth integration of new technologies with existing frameworks and systems.
  • Vigilantly track project progress, optimize cost, manage risks, and adapt strategies to guarantee project success.
  • Conduct Agile ceremonies, including Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Planning, Retrospectives, and Sprint Reviews and Demos for your teams.
  • Keep project documentation up to date in business systems like Confluence and JIRA, also responsible for creating project monitoring tools like Dashboards and Risk logs to avoid project pitfalls.
  • Oversee vendor relations and expectations for third-party Workday implementations and enhancements.
  • Champion project management best practices, contributing to the growth and refinement of the PMO.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years proven experience in leading Workday implementations and enhancements.
  • 4+ years working within a technical project management or product ownership function.
  • 3+ years of experience with modern project management tooling (Monday, MS Project, Jira, Miro, etc.).
  • 3+ years of experience managing internal/external project timelines and roadmaps.
  • 3+ years of experience working with various project methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid, etc.).
  • Workday Pro Certification and/or other relevant Workday certifications (HCM, Financials, Integration, etc.) preferred.
  • Project Management and/or Agile Certifications preferred.
  • Experience with Workday Studio, EIBs, and Workday Report Writer and ability to configure and customize Workday modules to meet business requirements.
  • Strong understanding of Workday (HCM, Payroll, Finance, Business Process, Reporting) preferred.
  • Experience supporting financial services and professional services firms preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage project timelines, roadmaps, and deliverables effectively.
  • Proven track record of successfully deploying technology to large user bases (500+ end users).
  • Exceptional time management, interpersonal, and organization skills.
  • Understanding of cloud technologies (MS Azure & AWS) and their application in business solutions.
  • Proficiency in software dependency management across technology stacks, for example middleware services (API's), web, and native applications.
  • Experience in facilitating change and accelerating technology adoption.
