Residential Operations Coordinator

Fisher Island Club is seeking a motivated and organized Guest Services Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our housekeeping team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service and our facilities are maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Maintenance: Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of guest units, public areas, and operation areas to ensure they meet our high standards.
- Inspections and Training: Conduct daily inspections of work performed by housekeeping staff and implement training procedures to enhance their skills.
- Data Compilation: Compile data to inform scheduling of special projects such as carpet shampooing and drapery cleaning.
- Policies and Objectives: Assist in developing policies, standards, and objectives to provide effective housekeeping services.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Ensure timely completion of necessary maintenance and repairs.
- Inventories and Supplies: Assist in completing inventories and maintaining adequate supplies.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: 1 year of housekeeping supervisory experience preferred.
- Languages: Fluency in English is essential.
- Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with basic housekeeping practices, ability to work under pressure, make decisions, and exercise common sense.
Working Conditions:
- Business Office: Work in a business office environment.
- Laundry Facilities: Access to laundry equipment and facilities.
- Guest Accommodations: Work in guest accommodations and public areas.
