Slate Roofing Craftsperson

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Slate Roofing Laborer to join our team at The Durable Slate Company. As a Slate Roofing Laborer, you will assist our experienced crews in installing and maintaining slate roofs on historic and commercial properties.

This is an entry-level position that offers opportunities for growth and development in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment. We provide paid training and hands-on experience to help you succeed in this role.

• Assist crew members with slate roofing installation and repair tasks
• Carry out manual labor tasks such as lifting, carrying, and moving materials
• Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge

• Valid driver's license (4 points or less) preferred but not required
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Willing to travel and work overtime as needed
• Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen

• Competitive hourly rate ($20-$30/hour based on experience)
