Job Summary

Woodstream is seeking a skilled Material Handler II to join our team. As a Material Handler II, you will be responsible for selecting, packing, receiving, and shipping orders to customers utilizing Power Industrial trucks (PIT).

Key Responsibilities
  • Receive and put away inventory.
  • Pick orders according to instructions.
  • Ship orders by the requested ship date.
  • Use scanners to read bar codes on products.
  • View prompts on screens and follow the direction for some tasks.
  • Troubleshoot problems.
  • Ensure product meets quality requirements.
  • Operate power industrial trucks (PIT) to pick orders, put away products, load and unload trucks, such as a forklift, electrical pallet jack, high reach, and work at heights up to 35 feet.
  • Load orders into trucks for shipment
  • Maintain a safe working environment and practice safe work habits.
  • Meet Productivity and Quality Standards

Requirements
  • 1 year warehouse experience w/RF & WMS experience preferred.
  • 1 year for forklift (stand-up or sit-down), high reach, electric pallet jack.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Basic math and reading skills.
  • Able to communicate verbally and in writing.
