Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensing Compliance Specialist to join our team at Janus International Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the company's compliance with licensing regulations and requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the licensing process by ensuring the company's compliance with renewing and maintaining corporate, contractor, and local-level licenses.
  • Ensure ACT Licensing Compliance in states where required.
  • Provide professional licensing support to the company and its subsidiaries, ensuring that all required professional licenses are obtained and kept in good standing.
  • Ensure proper and timely completion of all licensing requirements for all JBI companies, including the preparation and filing of license applications.
  • Apply for new licenses as needed at state and local levels.
  • Send and upload Certificates of Insurance (COIs) to proper licensing offices.
  • Ensure the installation crew complies with state licensing requirements where necessary.
  • Retain accurate and organized records of all licensing documents.
  • Track and monitor installation partners' licenses, insurance, and certifications.
  • Track and monitor ACT construction employee licenses and certifications.
  • Pull permits in multiple jurisdictions and obtain accurate submittal packages and 3rd party AutoCAD drawings.
  • Liaise between Janus contracting and ACT contracts to ensure accuracy for the operational team.
  • Coordinate and assist in procuring and maintaining local licenses with Accounting and Contracting departments.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years of license management, regulatory compliance, or related experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction/Business Management is preferred.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite of programs - Word, Excel, Outlook, Project.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Minimum OSHA 10 certification.
