About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health in Two Rivers, Wisconsin.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and ensuring a safe and efficient operating room environment. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare surgical areas for procedures, including setting up equipment and supplies.
  • Assist surgeons during operations, passing instruments and supplies as needed.
  • Ensure proper sterilization and disinfection of equipment and surfaces.
  • Maintain accurate records of procedures and patient information.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A completion of an accredited or approved program in Surgical Technology.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and push/pull heavy equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $62,000 - $82,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
