Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Produce Procurement Administrator to join our team at H Mart. As a key member of our Produce department, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality produce products while maintaining the lowest possible prices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and manage purchase orders and sales orders to ensure timely and successful receipt of products
  • Source and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices and quality products
  • Conduct quality control checks on incoming products to ensure they meet our high standards
  • Collaborate with warehouse employees and suppliers to resolve delivery issues, backorders, and product returns
  • Manage and maintain accurate inventory records for refrigerated storage
  • Assist in creating new item forms and sales templates for seasonal and special projects
  • Analyze sales and purchase data to inform procurement decisions
  • Perform administrative tasks to support the Produce department
  • Conduct store visits to ensure quality assurance and sales status of produce
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with suppliers and negotiate prices
  • Ability to work in low-temperature conditions and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Entry-level to 1 year of work experience
  • Bilingual in English and Korean language preferred
