Nurse Practitioner - Senior Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our team at the Good Samaritan Society in Estherville, IA. As a senior care specialist, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

As a Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to our residents. This will include assessing patients' health needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery. You will also have the opportunity to educate patients and their families on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention strategies.

In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will also play a key role in mentoring and educating new staff members, as well as participating in quality improvement initiatives to continually enhance our care standards.

Requirements:

We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner who possesses strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for geriatric care. You must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a current RN license in the state of Iowa. BSN preferred.

A minimum of two years of experience in acute or long-term care is required, with a focus on gerontological nursing.

Certification as a Gerontological Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (GAPRN) is highly desirable but not required. Possession of multistate licensure is preferred. Multistate Licensure Compact NLC State allowed if requirements met. With departmental approval any licenses held in other states can be utilized. Please contact HR for details.Benefits:

Salary Range:$52.00 - $68.00 per hour

This salary range may vary depending on factors such as experience, certifications, and education level.
