Job Description:Phlebotomists are responsible for drawing blood from patients for testing, transfusions, or donations, ensuring patient comfort and safety during the procedure.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform venipunctures and capillary collections accurately and safely.
- Prepare and label blood samples for laboratory testing.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Educate patients about the blood collection process.
- Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.
High school diploma or equivalent; certification in phlebotomy preferred.
Strong interpersonal skills and empathy.
Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
Attention to detail and excellent hand-eye coordination.
