We are seeking a highly skilled Long-Distance Truck Driver to join our team at US Foods, Inc.

About the Role

This position involves safely driving trucks to deliver products to customers, ensuring timely delivery and professional customer service. A valid CDL Class A license is required, along with commercial driving experience and efficient product handling skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer using manual labor or equipment
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable
  • Perform all pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections
Requirements
  • Valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations
  • Must be able to read and communicate in the English language
Compensation and Benefits

The expected base rate for this role is between $34.78 and $36.91 per hour. As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation and retention bonus. Additional benefits include health insurance, pre-tax spending accounts, retirement benefits, paid time off, short-term and long-term disability, employee stock purchase plan, and life insurance.
