Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing software applications to meet the needs of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead technical workgroups and provide technical expertise to resolve complex service requests
  • Perform research, analysis, design, creation, and implementation of software applications
  • Define and create next-generation solutions to drive business value
  • Monitor multiple projects to successful completion, maintaining scope within time and budget constraints
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
Requirements
  • 6+ years' experience in software development with expert-level expertise in multiple programming languages and methodologies
  • 5+ years' hands-on experience with Android native application development languages, frameworks, and tools
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification
  • Preferred experience developing apps for large, critical user bases
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficient understanding of Android Architecture components (Jetpack Compose, Data Binding, etc.)
  • Strong architectural mindset and experience working with MVVM/MVI design patterns
  • Expertise in multithreading techniques and hands-on experience with Coroutines or RxJava
  • Solid understanding of caching mechanisms, data management, and storage solutions (Room, SQLite, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge of working with dynamic data using services (e.g., JSON, REST APIs, GQL, etc.)
What We Offer

Marriott International offers a competitive salary range of $96,038 to $209,169 annually, depending on location. In addition to the annual salary, the position will be eligible to receive an annual bonus. Employees will accrue PTO balance for every hour worked and be eligible to receive a minimum of 7 holidays annually.
