Job Overview

Berendsen Fluid Power is a leading distributor of fluid power solutions, providing value-added services to the mobile and industrial markets. We are seeking a highly skilled Field Sales Representative to join our team in the Southern Idaho area.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in hydraulic and electrical systems, with a passion for developing and supporting solutions for our customers. The role involves maintaining existing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing expert technical advice to ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and grow customer base through effective sales and marketing strategies
  • Develop and implement technical solutions for hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Collaborate with the Berendsen support team and vendors to ensure seamless customer service
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the Field Sales Manager
  • Work from a home office and maintain a high level of organization and time management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Strong technical knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with CAD software and schematic design
  • Knowledge of fluid power systems and electrical controls
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and results-driven approach
