Fire Sprinkler Installation Specialist

**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Fire Sprinkler Fitter to join our team at Summit Fire & Security. This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about life safety and committed to delivering exceptional results.
**Responsibilities:**
- Cut, fabricate, and install steel pipe and CPVC pipe as designed for fire sprinkler systems, ensuring accurate installation and adherence to blueprints and construction documents.
- Install and hang various pipe, sprinkler heads, fittings, valves, hangers, and other fire protection components in accordance with blueprints and construction documents, maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Install and trim valves for wet, dry, and pre-action fire protection systems, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents to ensure sprinkler systems are constructed as designed, making informed decisions to resolve any discrepancies or issues.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures to ensure employee well-being and prevent accidents.
- Clean, inspect, and service required tools in accordance with company policies, ensuring equipment is in good working condition and ready for use.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and supplies are secured and accounted for while on the job site and prior to the end of the workday, preventing loss or damage.
- Report daily progress and job-related problems to field foremen, providing timely updates and addressing any concerns or issues promptly.
- Assist in the training of sprinkler apprentices, sharing knowledge and expertise to help them develop skills and confidence.
**Qualifications and Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and attributes:
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent, required.
- 3-5 years' experience installing pipe systems and valves, required.
- Able to work alone and as part of a team, demonstrating excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Construction experience, preferred.
- BASIC math skills, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, customer service skills, decision-making skills, ability to multitask, ability to meet project schedules, ability to plan and organize, troubleshooting skills, and the ability to train others.
- Ability to read electronic blueprints, strongly preferred.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record, required.
- Compliance with SFS's Drug and Alcohol policy and Background screening requirements, which may also include customer-specific requirements based on contractual agreements.
**Benefits and Compensation:
