Chief Financial Officer

Animas Surgical Hospital, LLC seeks a highly skilled and experienced Chief Financial Officer to lead the financial management of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Strategy & Planning
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the organization's mission, vision, and goals.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis processes to ensure sound financial management and sustainable growth.
- Provide financial guidance and recommendations to the executive team and board of directors to support decision-making and optimize financial performance.
- Financial Management & Reporting
- Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, revenue cycle management, billing, and financial reporting.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and internal policies and procedures.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed to achieve financial targets and mitigate risks.
- Operational Excellence
- Collaborate with operational leaders to optimize processes, improve efficiencies, and enhance patient care delivery.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational improvements to drive overall organizational performance.
- Implement key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure and monitor operational and financial performance.
- Strategic Leadership
- Provide strategic leadership and guidance to the executive team and departmental leaders on financial matters.
- Participate in strategic planning initiatives, mergers and acquisitions, and other growth opportunities to support organizational objectives.
- Foster a culture of financial accountability, transparency, and integrity throughout the organization.
- Team Development and Management
- Build and lead a high-performing finance team, providing mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities.
- Promote a collaborative and inclusive work environment that aligns with the values of the facility: Excellence, Collaboration, Empowerment, Community, and Integrity.
- Foster strong cross-functional relationships and communication channels across the organization.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, and a minimum of 7-10 years of progressive financial leadership experience in the healthcare industry. A CPA or MBA is strongly preferred. The candidate should have excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
