Lead Carpenter

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our team at DC Builders. As a Lead Carpenter, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of one-of-a-kind, heavy timber structures, including custom homes, event venues, wineries, and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of field carpenters and subcontractors to ensure timely and high-quality completion of projects.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and IBC building codes.
- Develop and implement project schedules, including material lead times and purchase orders.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to quality and safety.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience as a Lead Carpenter or in a management role.
- Timber frame experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and IBC building codes.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
