Head Pizza Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled Head Pizza Chef to join our team at Matteo's Restaurant & Pizzeria Inc. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and passionate individual to lead our kitchen and create delicious pizzas for our customers.

About the Role

• Lead our pizza-making team and ensure high-quality products are consistently delivered.
• Develop and implement new pizza recipes, menus, and promotions to drive sales and customer engagement.
• Collaborate with our chefs to plan and execute menu specials, events, and catering services.
• Train and mentor junior staff members to improve their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a fast-paced restaurant or pizzeria environment.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a team and work with colleagues effectively.
• Able to work under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor during peak hours.
• Familiarity with food safety and hygiene practices, as well as local health regulations.
• Possess a valid food handling certificate.

Work Schedule

We operate 7 days a week, with two lunch shifts on Sundays and weekends. Our restaurant hours are closed on Mondays, open from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Tuesdays through Thursdays, and open for lunch and dinner on Fridays and Saturdays.
