Job SummaryThe Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist role at Norman Regional Health System involves preparing equipment, maintaining a sterile environment, and providing patient care in our state-of-the-art cardiovascular department.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and position equipment for procedures.
- Assess patient condition and provide tailored care.
- Maintain a sterile environment to ensure infection control.
- Serve as a preceptor for new hires and radiology students.
- Collaborate with cardiologists to deliver high-quality patient care.
To succeed in this role, you must have:
- A completed formal program in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Eligibility for ARRT registration or current RCIS certification.
- Previous experience in procedural areas is preferred.
- Basic Life Support training, with ACLS certification required within 6 months.
