About the Job

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare West. As an Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping our patients achieve their goals and regain their independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients.
  • Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify patients' needs and abilities.
  • Implement interventions and strategies to help patients achieve their goals.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) certification.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or CPR certification within 30 days of employment start date.
