**Job Summary**

KidMed is seeking a skilled Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our medical professionals to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive physical exams and develop treatment plans with independence under the guidance of a physician.
  • Provide age-appropriate care in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing patient comfort and safety.
  • Evaluate patient health and developmental history, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with physicians to develop clinical pathways and ensure consistency in patient care.
  • Facilitate patient flow, communication, and problem resolution, promoting a positive work environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve patient outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Graduation from an approved Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant program.
  • Valid license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant in Virginia.
  • Current PALS certification and DEA License (if applicable).
  • Prior experience in pediatrics or emergency care is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, and more.
