We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Professional Nurse (RN) to join our team at AdventHealth Orlando's Infusion Center. As an Oncology Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive cancer care to patients, including chemotherapy and immune therapy.

Schedule and Shifts

This full-time position requires a flexible schedule with four 10-hour shifts per week, Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Additionally, you will work one Saturday shift every six weeks from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Location and Unit Description

The AH Infusion Center at Orlando is a state-of-the-art facility with 70 chairs, offering FACT Accredited BMT Infusion Unit services, CAR-T, Apheresis, and Extracorporeal Photopheresis. Our interdisciplinary team provides whole-person care to patients undergoing various infusion therapies.

Your Role and Responsibilities

You will be responsible for providing direct and indirect total nursing care to identified age-specific groups, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care. Your expertise will include assessing and interpreting diagnostic data, administering medications safely, and promoting patient safety.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must hold a current valid State of Florida or multistate license as a Registered Nurse, have Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification, and either ACLS certification if working in the BMT and CRU department or meet the necessary qualifications for your assigned unit. One year of professional nursing experience, particularly in oncology or chemo infusion, is highly preferred.
