Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Air Traffic Control Systems Specialist to join our team at Dynamic Science Inc. As an integral part of our air traffic operations, this role will be responsible for providing comprehensive maintenance and training services for radar systems.

Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will perform planned/preventive and corrective maintenance, as well as provide training on assigned radar systems. This includes:

  • Performing daily operational checks and preventive maintenance in accordance with MCIEAST-MCB CAMLEJO 3721.1 and OPNAVINST 4790.4.
  • Correcting malfunctions in accordance with MCIEAST-MCB CAMLEJO 3721.1 and verifying correct certifying ground inspections values and data on FAA flight inspectable systems in accordance with NAVAIR 00-80T-114 and OPNAVINST 3721.5.
  • Obtaining required qualifications and providing NAALS systems training, On the Job Training (OJT), and submitting qualification recommendations to newly assigned Electronics Technicians in accordance with MCIEAST-MCB CAMLEJO 3721.1.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Secret Clearance or previously held a Secret Clearance which has expired (not revoked).
  • An initial indoctrination training program and recurring systems proficiency evaluations, as needed, in accordance with MCIEAST-MCB CAMLEJO 3721.1 and OPNAVINST 3721.1.
  • Certifications on the following systems: AN/GPN-30 Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) and AN/FSQ-204 Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS).
  • Three years of working knowledge and experience with the following systems: AN/GPN-30 Digital Airport Surveillance Radar (DASR) and AN/FSQ-204 Standard Terminal Automation Replacement System (STARS).
  • A certificate from the DOD or FAA electronics course or an approved accredited electronics certification program.
  • Five years of experience working with Air Traffic Control systems, including repairing, overhauling, modifying analog-to-digital interface systems, isolating malfunctions using electronic test equipment, assembling, installing, and repairing antenna systems, transmission lines, fiber optics, and RF waveguides, performing corrosion control measures, maintaining Facilities Status Records, updating logbooks, and verifying operational conditions of Air Traffic Control systems.
Estimated Salary Range

$90,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience.
