**Job Summary**

Eurofins USA Environment Testing is seeking a highly skilled Asbestos Laboratory Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing complex laboratory analyses, data validation, and reporting in compliance with company quality assurance programs.

Responsibilities

  • Perform asbestos analysis using PLM and PCM microscopy according to scientific methodology and company standards.
  • Validate and review data for accuracy, uploading results into the LIMS system.
  • Schedule sample workload based on due dates and sample hold times.
  • Maintain client service and provide technical support as needed.
  • Assist the QA manager in developing and implementing quality processes.
  • Perform confirmation of lab results and complete analytical testing QA tasks.
  • Coordinate and manage projects according to their rush status and due time.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in geology, biology, or a closely related science.
  • 1-2+ years of experience in asbestos PLM microscopy (preferred).
  • Acute color vision ability.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
