Job Description

Nelson Enterprise Inc is seeking a skilled Rehabilitation Nurse to join our team. As a Rehabilitation Nurse, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with disabilities and chronic illnesses to attain and maintain maximum function.

The goal of rehabilitation nursing is to provide a therapeutic environment that promotes physical, psychosocial, and spiritual health. As a Rehabilitation Nurse, you will work in inpatient and outpatient settings, designing and implementing treatment strategies based on scientific nursing theory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and coordinate care for individuals with physical disabilities and chronic illnesses
  • Develop and implement individualized teaching and discharge plans
  • Provide hands-on nursing care and education to clients and their families
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary rehabilitation team to achieve overall goals
  • Act as a resource and role model for nursing staff and students
