Boiler Technician

Thompson First Group is seeking a skilled Boiler Technician to join our team in Fayetteville, NC. The ideal candidate will have experience working with industrial boilers and a strong mechanical aptitude.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain industrial boilers, including startup, operation, and shutdown procedures.
- Perform routine testing and inspections, including water sampling and boiler blowdowns.
- Operate air compressors and associated equipment to supply dry, oil-free air to the facility.
- Perform breakdown and routine maintenance on utility system equipment, including boilers, condensate pumps, and feedwater pumps.
- Monitor and obtain utility meter readings daily.
- Ensure efficient operation of the condensate return system.
- Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
- Report any unusual occurrences to the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements:
- Two years of experience as a boiler technician, including general utility maintenance.
- Mechanical aptitude, including experience troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing pumps, motors, and other equipment.
- Basic math knowledge.
