About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Sarasota Memorial Health.

Job Description

The successful candidate will conduct daily rounds on patients to assess their nutritional status, evaluate treatment plans, and implement evidence-based nutrition care. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct daily patient assessments to identify nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans
  • Evaluate patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document outcomes in medical records
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless delivery of patient care
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or a related field
  • License to practice as a Registered Dietitian within 6 months of employment
  • 1+ year of experience in dietetics, preferably in a hospital setting
Preferred Qualifications
  • Membership in professional dietetic associations (local and national)
  • Experience working in endocrinology or therapeutic dietetics
Salary and Benefits

This part-time position offers a competitive salary of $45,000 per year (based on 20 hours/week), plus comprehensive benefits, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
