Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Service Administrator to join our team at Dobbs Equipment in Fort Myers. This is a unique opportunity to work with heavy equipment and provide exceptional customer service.

Job Responsibilities
  • Customer Support
  • Handle phone calls, advise customers on technical problems, and schedule customer service needs.
  • Work Order Management
  • Assist in opening and closing of work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Appraisal and Quotes
  • Assist in the appraisal and quotes of repair work coming into the shop and discuss with the Service Manager the required service, both in parts and labor.
  • Scheduling and Coordination
  • Hold weekly open work order update calls with top 10-15 accounts and assist in scheduling shop assignments, field service work, and truck requirements for pickup and delivery of equipment.
  • Warranty Claims
  • Assist in processing warranty claims.
  • Work Procedures
  • Assist in establishing or adjusting work procedures to meet schedules and deadlines.
Requirements
  • Certifications
  • A valid driver's license and Forklift Certification are required.
  • Experience and Skills
  • At least one year of experience in customer service, administrative support, or a related field is preferred.
  • Education
  • A high school diploma or equivalent with one year of post-high school education in heavy equipment or two years of mechanical experience as a service technician is required.
