Comedy Coach and Mentor for Student Sketch Group

Suffolk University's Performing Arts Office is seeking a highly experienced comedy coach to support the student-led sketch comedy group, Who's Askin'?

The successful candidate will provide artistic direction, foster student leadership, and guide a diverse group of student comedians in writing, editing, directing, and performing sketch comedy.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting and teaching students in writing, editing, and directing sketches
  • Fostering student leadership and collaboration within the group
  • Providing guidance on performance technique, show production, and auditions

In this role, you will work closely with the student leaders to develop their skills and produce high-quality performances.

We are looking for an experienced comedian, teacher, or coach who can bring their expertise to this exciting opportunity. If you have a passion for comedy and a commitment to mentoring students, we encourage you to apply.

This is a part-time position, approximately 5 hours per week during the fall and spring academic semesters, including rehearsals, performances, and meetings with student leaders.
