Advanced Care Provider for Primary Medicine

Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Care Provider to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and conducting non-treatment medical examinations on a PRN basis.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will have experience in family medicine, internal medicine, or orthopedic surgery, with a strong background in general medicine. You will work within your own practice, either scheduling Veterans or participating in one-time non-treatment C&P exams and separation health assessments.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct non-treatment medical examinations, primarily interview-based with some physical assessment, including range of motion testing and muscle strength testing.
- Prepare and submit standardized forms (DBQs) within 48 hours of exam completion.
- Review records and complete follow-up administrative work as required.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- AANP state license requirements for Illinois.
- Ability to obtain DMA certification, if not already certified.
- Familiarity with Musculoskeletal, Diabetes, and Cardio conditions.
- Proficiency in METs testing, evaluating, and diagnosing respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions.
- An owned personal laptop (PC-compatible).
