Job DescriptionWe are seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team in NW Portland. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our sleep specialists to deliver outstanding care to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough patient intake for both clinic and telehealth appointments.
- Accompany patients during medical visits, accurately taking and organizing medical notes.
- Schedule medical care and diagnostic tests as directed by physicians.
- Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
- Assist in processing prescription refills and referrals.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to contribute to our team's success.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of hands-on experience in medical assisting.
- Valid Medical Assistant certification.
- Exceptional customer service skills and dedication to quality care.
- Familiarity with electronic health records systems is a plus.
- Outstanding work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong multitasking abilities and effective verbal and written communication skills.
