We are seeking a skilled and passionate Music Ministry Director to lead our music ministry at Christ the Redeemer Anglican Church. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in shaping the musical experience for our congregation.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year

About Our Music Ministry

We strive to create a sincere, eclectic, celebratory, and folksy atmosphere in our worship services. Our musicians draw inspiration from a variety of sources, including modern worship music, repurposed hymns, and classic hymns. We believe that music has the power to connect us with God and with each other, and we seek to cultivate a culture of community and inclusivity through our music.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead music for Sunday services and Holy Days
  • Choose songs in consultation with the rector
  • Add songs to Proclaim software for worship services
  • Schedule AV volunteers
  • Practice with musicians
  • Prepare chord charts, whether by using Song select or creating your own in Planning Center

Requirements:

  • Experience in musical leadership
  • Significant understanding of worship and music
  • A willingness to listen to the Holy Spirit in preparing and leading in worship
  • A member of Christ the Redeemer and willing to serve
  • Embrace the vision and values of Christ the Redeemer
  • Willing to pray regularly for music ministry at Christ the Redeemer
