Industrial Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Project Manager to oversee large and complex industrial projects, setting strategies and goals for successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all project activities and resources, define team assignments, and serve as the primary contact for industrial clients throughout project implementation.
  • Take financial responsibility for projects, ensure accurate reporting, uphold company policies, and maintain compliance with industrial guidelines.
  • Provide timely information to stakeholders, make decisions considering the impact on various departments, and ensure smooth cross-department coordination.
  • Facilitate timely invoice payments from industrial clients, oversee pre-construction budgets, manage client and subcontractor change orders, and conduct monthly project accounting reviews.
  • Ensure projects are completed on schedule, monitor the change issue log, and manage project timelines effectively.
  • Select, coach, and manage staff, fostering positive relationships with field personnel and craft foremen.
  • Manage a portion of annual sales, provide support to industrial clients on project financials, and take ownership of assigned projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of five (5) years in project management within the construction industry.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, Suretrak), and knowledge of SharePoint and industrial codes.
  • Preferred Qualifications: CPM professional designations, experience in low voltage systems (HVAC Controls, Fire Alarm, Security), and basic estimating skills.
