With a focus on project management, this role will involve coordinating multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining open lines of communication with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.

About the Role

We are committed to providing opportunities for growth and development. As a Master Builder and Project Coordinator, you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining adherence to HITT's safety standards and ensuring all necessary documentation is up-to-date.
  • Creating and managing project budgets for assigned projects, identifying areas for cost savings and implementing effective solutions.
  • Developing and collaborating on pre-construction RFP packages, taking into account client needs and project requirements.
  • Conducting regular project meetings, setting milestones, and preparing monthly owner reports to keep stakeholders informed.
  • Establishing job processes, including RFIs, submittals, and pay applications, while approving payments and negotiating subcontract change orders.
  • Performing project scheduling, ensuring quality control, and organizing overall project logistics.
  • Managing the closeout process efficiently, ensuring all tasks are completed to satisfaction.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a four-year degree from an accredited university in construction, engineering, or business is preferred.
  • In lieu of a degree, significant work experience in commercial construction is acceptable.
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial construction, including experience working with a commercial general contractor.
  • A proven track record in project management, with the ability to execute multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in sector-specific software systems, including Microsoft Office, ProCore, Adobe, BlueBeam, and JD Edwards.
  • The ability to read and interpret construction drawings, as well as update project-related documents.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage resources effectively.
  • Knowledge of current market conditions, including pricing conventions and trends.
