Purpose of Job

This leadership position plays a critical role in managing company-owned distributorships to meet or exceed operational and financial goals, including revenue generation and lead acquisition strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accountable for profitable management of the operation, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Review and analyze weekly scorecards and monthly financials to identify variances from budgeted targets and implement corrective actions.
  • Effectively manage accounts receivable, maintaining acceptable levels and developing action plans for underperforming accounts.
  • Participate in annual budget development and manage inventory levels to support sales growth.
  • Identify and address root causes of inventory deviations through data analysis and implement corrective actions.
  • Optimize Dealer Inventory Optimization (DIO) processes for maximum sales efficiency.
Customer Focus:
  • Monitor market trends using smart dashboard tools and develop strategies to address declining markets.
  • Nurture relationships with key account decision-makers and maintain strong customer connections.
  • Manage dealer erosion and stay up-to-date on product and service competition.
  • Investigate customer complaints, respond promptly, and work with the sales team to acquire new business within the region.
Human Capital:
  • Communicate enterprise initiatives, IoT goals, and regional objectives to operation staff, fostering clarity and alignment.
  • Establish regular meetings with operation staff and provide performance reviews to ensure continuous growth and improvement.
  • Hire and promote individuals based on proven behaviors aligned with enterprise requirements and competencies.
  • Manage labor resources effectively, meeting utilization objectives and providing training and coaching to develop team members' knowledge and skills.
Process Excellence:
  • Ensure data integrity and timely submissions into reporting systems.
  • Maintain compliance with IOT standard operating procedures, including OSHA and DOT regulations.
  • Develop best practices to enhance productivity, efficiency, and revenue growth.
  • Implement optimized routing procedures to maximize equipment and manpower utilization.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of proven managerial experience.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment is beneficial.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
  • Familiarity with battery or automotive systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
