Job Overview

About the Role

The Nursing Assistant works under the direction of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care. This includes assisting with daily tasks, such as vital sign measurement, documentation, and point-of-care testing. You will also be responsible for maintaining a safe environment, communicating with patients and families, and participating in hand-off procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
  • Assist with vital sign measurement, documentation, and point-of-care testing
  • Maintain a safe environment, including 1:1 continuous monitoring and age/developmentally appropriate patient interaction
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Participate in hand-off procedures and document care delivered/patient responses to interventions
Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED, plus completion of program leading to certification as Nursing Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Basic Life Support certification from the American Heart Association
  • Ability to safely immobilize children, move equipment, and respond quickly to patient care situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, employer-paid group term life and disability, and paid time off.
