The Pharmacovigilance, Patient Safety, Epidemiology, and Quality (PSEQ) organization works collaboratively with colleagues across the product lifecycle to ensure quality standards of AbbVie products. As a Quality Automation Intern, you will support the Medical Device Combo Product Research and Development Quality Assurance (MDCP RDQA) organization. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Supporting a team of R&D QA development partners around the globe
- Leading efforts to build tools to collect and organize existing SOPs, regulations, standards, and guidance documents
- Exploring potential ways to automate quality activities, such as DHF documentation reviews
- Implementing knowledge management frameworks and best practices to optimize search functionality and ensure efficiency and consistency
AbbVie strongly considers high-performing interns as candidates for the Patient Safety & Quality Development Program, a two-year rotational program aimed at developing the leaders of tomorrow within the Patient Safety and Quality function.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in university, pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Data Analytics, or other related field
- Must be enrolled in university for at least one semester following the internship
- Expected graduation date between December 2025 – June 2026
- Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques
- Experience with data bank, data structure, and data analysis
- Proficiency in data mining and extraction techniques
- Understanding of data governance and data quality principles
- Demonstrated ability to design and develop strategies for the use of Business Intelligence and Analytical tools
